Eos is the Greek goddess of the dawn — sister of Helios (the sun) and Selene (the moon).

She rises each morning from the edge of the ocean to open the gates of heaven, bringing light to the world.

Her fingers are described as rosy-tipped or saffron-robed, and she’s often depicted driving a chariot drawn by swift horses, scattering dew and painting the sky in pink and gold.
